#5 ANZ  â€" $15 million

The logo was designed by M&C Saatchi for the price of $15 million. The 3 pieces reflect ANZ’s 3 core markets (Australia, New Zealand, Asia Pacific). The human shape represents customers and staff. But what is ANZ ? In case you never heard of it, ANZ stands for Australia and New Zealand Banking Group and it is the largest bank in New Zealand and the 3rd largest in Australia.  Founded in 1835, ANZ operates in 30 other nations.

Most Expensive Logos in the World

#4 Posten Norge â€" $55 million

This logo is so expensive. Posten Norge is a Norwegian postal service. In Norwegian, ‘posten’ means the post or the mail. Founded in 1647 by Henrik Morian, this postal service has now a new logo. A more expensive one! Communications director, Elisabeth Gjolme said: ‘We will keep the name, but it brings a new symbol. The new Post-mark is a modernization of the old logo, which, with its classic horn and royal crown is something most people have a relationship with. â€" It was important for us to keep some of the tradition in the new logo.’

Most Expensive Logos in the World

#3 Accenture â€" $100 million

The logo of Accenture was designed by Landor Associates. The logo is very simple, with a text. The angled bracket above the letter ‘t’ signifies forward movement of the company into the future. Accenture is an organization providing outsourcing services, technology and management consulting, with 281.000 employees.

Most Expensive Logos in the World

#2 BP â€" $211 million

Another logo redesigned by Landor Associates in 2008. BP stands for British Petroleum, and it is a British multinational gas and oil company with the headquarter in London. It’s the 5th largest energy company by market capitalization. So, it deserves a logo this expensive.  The Helios mark symbolizes the newly merged company. The logo is bright and bold, with natural forms. It looks good in green.

Most Expensive Logos in the World

#1 Symantec â€" $1.28 billion

This is #1 from our world’s most expensive logos top list. But it is kinda expensive, don’t you think?  Chief marketing officer, Carine Clark declared : ‘ We believe in today’s connected world that the Symantec check mark will stand for confidence, the same way the Nike swoosh stands for fitness. The new logo signals Symantec’s vision to bring together identity and device security, information protection, context and relevance and the benefits from leveraging the cloud â€" all critical enablers of confidence in a connected world.’ The VeriSign check mark is one of the most recognized marks.

Most Expensive Socks In The World

1 Flares 0 Facebook 1 Google+ 0 LinkedIn 0 1 Flares ×

Bet you’re wondering which are the most expensive socks in the world! Keep reading!

It’s so difficult to decide what to get for your loved ones for the holidays . You don’t have to worry now, because a new luxury knitwear brand from Germany called Falke is selling these days pairs of socks that happen to be the most expensive ever made in this world.

These socks will be sold for $1,188 because they are made of Vicuna. This fabric is made from the ultra fine hair of the Peruvian Vicuna and it is so rare and expensive at the same time. This explains why just 10 pairs of socks are available for sale.

Most Expensive Socks In The World

The socks have been made alongside 20 pullovers with the same Vicuna fabric. Each of pullovers costs $3,300. Because socks are a Christmas stocking staple, Falke is looking to capture the high-end festive season shopper looking for one of the most luxurious and unique gifts.

The socks will come with a golden-brown presentation box that resemble the Llama- like camelid originating from Peru. The Camelid produces very fine and delicate wool. The wool is so delicate it can’t be dyed. The socks are therefore available in one color , the golden brown. Any attempts to dye Vicuna fabric have always resulted in irreversible damage.

The problem is that there are only 10 pairs, so if you need one you must place the order quickly. The Vicuna socks are part of Falkes’s autumn/winter collection.

Falke’s limited edition pullovers will be available in two neckline choices  v-neckline and roll. The pullovers are expected to offer a luxury spin on Falke’s mainline menswear collection which is mostly made from merino wool, silk and cashmere.

Given the fact that Vicuna fabric is as expensive as gold when you consider weight, the  $3,300 price tag is justified when you consider other factors like the difficulty involved in getting the fabric .

One Vicuna produces approximately one pound of wool. When you consider the fact that Vicuna’s are endangered camelid species and they can’t be domesticated, it is easy to see why these pair of socks and pullover are so expensive.

We hope you liked our article about the Most Expensive Pair Of Socks In The World !

World’s most expensive desserts

They say everyone loves chocolate, so let’s talk about the world’s most expensive desserts.

It doesn’t matter if you like dark, white or milk chocolate, I’m sure that you found yourself at least once entering a shop just to buy a box of chocolates. Call me crazy, but I love to treat myself from time to time with an expensive box of fine chocolates while I watch a movie. I also think it’s a great present to offer. I guess that’s why some people are trying their best to make the most delicious and luxurious desserts there are. Let’s discover some of the world’s most expensive desserts.

“Pirate’s Fantasy” â€" $35 million

This is thought to be the most expensive cake in the world and was designed by Chef D.K (Dimuthu Kumarasinghe), Group Skills Development Chef for Aitken Spence Hotels and Heritance Hotels & Resorts. It has the shape of a pirate’s ship and has ten layers with flavors like coconut meringue, cinnamon, zucchini, pumpkin and pistachio. As that was not enough, the cake is adorned with the rarest stones from the Sapphire family and draped with beautiful jewellery, including necklaces, rings and brooches.

Strawberries Arnaud’s â€" $1.4 million

Also, they are accompanied by a rare port from a $24,850 King’s Charles X crystal cave liqueur set.

Most Expensive Lamp in the World

Have you ever wondered which is the most expensive lamp in the world ?

Lamps are a must have in your home. Besides the fact that they are needed so make us see better, assuming it’s late and you don’t want to sleep yet but you don’t want to disturb other members of the family that are, a lamp also can be used as a decorating piece. Did I mention the fact that the light of a lamp is the second romantic thing, after the light of a candle ? Lamps come in different shapes and sizes, so you’ll just have to choose one that’s on your taste and also suits with your room design. Personally, I love huge, multi-colored lamps. We don’t spend so much money on lamps, unlike others, who would do anything to have some of the most expensive lamps in the world. Well, one man was crazy enough to spend $2.8 on the world’s most expensive lamp. Let’s find out more about that!

Pink Lotus lamp is considered to be the most expensive lamp in the world. And for good reason. This unique piece of art costs $2.8 million.

Most Expensive Lamp in the World

Pink Lotus lamp was created by Tiffany Studios (known at first ast the Tiffany Glass Company) in 1906 and was sold at Christie’s Auction in December 12, 1997. So, if you wanted to purchase it, you’re too late. But it would have been a nice image to sit and read under the light of Pink Lotus. The lamp features 2.000 hand-crafted glass pieces. They all are wrapped using a copper foil technique. The lamp, which is made of bronze, also features 12 lights and 8 Fravile Glass globes. It has a 28 inches diameter and 34.75 inches height.

Most Expensive Lamp in the World

In 1900s, the price for a Tiffany’s lamp was between #30 and $750. Later, Tiffany Studios created some lamps that worth millions, such as a Magnolia lamp, which cost $1.76 million and Peacock which cost $1.87 million. Still, none was so expensive as the Pink Lotus lamp. So, it remains world’s most expensive lamp ever sold.
