The house had a buy-it-now asking price of $21 million, before it entered auction at the end of last year. The price had been originally dropped for a previous listing of $29 million.

#6. Tommy Lee Jones â" Asking Price: $26.75 million

#4. Jon Bon Jovi â" Asking Price: $39.9 million
As some of you know, Iâm a huge Bon Jovi fan, so when I saw this property hit the market my success hungry soul shivered a little. Not only that the place is truly amazing, all in glass, featuring a 360 degree view in Manhattan. The place was bought in 2007 and the artist paid millions in renovation. If the asking price is paid they should turn a nice profit on the deal.
#3. Bob Hope â" Asking Price: $50 million
Although the beloved entertainer has a collection of properties in California, this John Lautner-designed house in Palm Springs is probably the greatest of the them all. The place was built to resemble a volcano, all in concrete and glass featuring an open semi-circle at its center.
#2. Richard Gere â" Asking Price: $65 million
This listing just proves that you can not make a bad investment in The Hamptons. The actor made a wise investment by buying two North Haven parcels, one in 2005 for $7 million and the other in 2007 for $1.65 million. Putting in the time and money towards updating, and improving the overall estate, the owner is now able to list it for as much as $65 million. Nicknamed Strongheart Manor the place covers 12,000 square feet and for the money you get: 12 bedrooms, 12 bathrooms and over 300 feet of waterfront.
#1. Celine Dion â" Asking Price: $72.5 million
This is the most expensive celebrity home for sale 2014! At an whopping asking price of over $70 million this has to be the most expensive listing of 2014. The French-Canadian songstress made a smart investment by buying two plots in Jupiter Island, FL one for $12.5 million in 2004 and the other for $7 million back in 2008. Putting those together an amazing resort-like property arose.
