In this article we’ll take you on a tour in the Most Expensive Home in Houston, the DanMar Manor estate.

Sitting on four acres of land in The Woodlands, Texas, the DanMar Manor is the most expensive home in Houston. The stunning residence offers an estimated 30,717 square feet of luxurious living space and its stated to be  the largest single-family property ever built inside the gates of Carlton Woods.

The luxurious estate has two separate apartments with their own bedroom, bath and kitchen. This brings the total bedroom count to 10, with 13 full baths, five half baths and nine gourmet kitchens.

The master suite alone is over 3,000 square feet and includes a beauty saloon, exercise room and a sitting area.

The residence has three floors and the same number of elevators including a unique bird cage elevator in the great room.

The home comes fully furnished with exceptional interior design concepts to match its French Renaissance style. With decorating input from M. Fatheree Interiors of The Woodlands, the home is furnished with plenty of antiques and fine paintings.

The DanMar Manor also houses a bathroom that has a personal salon and a relaxation pod, a private office with a secret room and an elegant library that features polished ornamental woodwork.

To add ambiance to this exquisite estate 12 fireplaces were built in. In close proximity, 22 designer couches are taking their place under a number of 42 handcrafted chandeliers.

For the times you just feel the need to lay down and watch a movie, you have this superb cinema theater. This is the perfect place to enjoy a movie with your friends  or to impress your loved one with a romantic scenario under the shining stars.

A 1950s-style parlor offers a checkered floor and soda fountain. There’s also a vintage jukebox in the themed parlor which is connected to the theater.

The DanMar Manor in Houston was built by Dan and Marion Spence over a period of three years, This luxurious home is offered for sale by Debbie Coleman of Coleman Realty at the price of $19,000,000.

Things To Do On Valentine’s Day

Are you interested in knowing some Things To Do On Valentine’s Day? In this case you find yourself in the perfect place!

That time of the year with all the people being in love and some being straight the opposite is at the door and I will give you some ideas about what you could do on Valentine’s Day even you have a girlfriend or not.

And if you want to be sure that never will miss from your perfect day with the girl you love I personally suggest to keep in mind the following suggestions because as far as I can see this is a period when many couples break up.

So let’s get straight into it!

# Have a romantic dinner

It may seem too mainstream but for me this is the perfect way to spend The Valentine’s Day with the woman or man you love. But if you want something different you may try to cook her dinner, this because there is nothing anyone loves more than being completely taken care of, so your girl will be impressed and hopefully you will remind yourself to get her some beautiful roses. Of course a mini-massage or to light some candles would be nice.

# Go for a massage

Going for a massage or going to spa is something that no women will pass on Valentine’s Day because it’s a way too feel good and special with your love. A relaxing massage is just the thing to get both of you in the mood for Valentine’s Day so go for it!

# Watch a romantic movie

Before or after your special dinner you could watch a romantic movie with your love, she will probably cry at a sad scene and you will give the the warm shoulder. It will be a nice and warm night with your most important person.

# Watch the sunset

What a special moment..you and your love standing on the beach, hearing the birds in the sky and watching the sunset. It’s a moment for life. So try to do this if your girl is not so romantic, I am pretty sure that she will fall for this.

# Go for a walk trough the city

Take her out if the weather is beautiful. Buy some ice cream from the corner of the street. Girls usually appreciate the little things, so buy her some flowers while you are her are walking together, it’s cute and hopefully she will be kinda amazed by the beautiful things you will do.

The Elie Saab Spring/Summer 2014 Collection is a story about femininity written on a classical dress, with floral patterns and glitter. Saab is well known for merging sparkling materials and elegant gowns on the stage, but this time, I sincerely believe he quite outdid himself. His latest Spring/Summer collection is inspired by the work of the nineteenth-century Dutch artist Sir Lawrence Alma-Tadema, who became famous for his depictions of the luxury and decadence of the Roman Empire and his work is characterized by the way in which he features flowers and textures. So, Saab used pastel colors and flower-prints in order to capture a bit of that idyllic ambiance.

The dresses have a rather romantic touch given by the color palette used: from soft pink to coral and champagne to powder blue, purple and black. What is even more amazing to is the decoration.

Valentino Haute Couture Spring 2014

The Spring 2014 Couture season at Valentino brings opera back in style while putting its mark on fairytale dreamy red carpet gowns. Take a look at  this season’s proposals for evening dresses and check out what are the latest trends in haute couture fashion!

Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli, the two Valentino fashion designers,  prepared for the latest haute couture fashion show a series of fairytale works of art wrapped up in feathers, lace and lots of transparency. The models seductive beauty was put in value through the feminity, luxury and sophisticated appeal given by each dress on the catwalk.

The opening look’s light colored mysterious sheer and printed musical notes on bottom part of the dress drives us straight into the collection’s romantic atmosphere. With a sophisticated ballerina updo with easy knots in the back and a light basic make-up, the details completed the model’s fragile, feminine and poetic look.

Opera was the inspiration behind the whole Valentino couture fashion show, which was easily seen from the opening look, but also from the background music of the event. Every look was theatrical, impressive and bold.

Going forward, Valentino’s fashion show moves up quickly to more dramatic appealing looks with dark feathers, transparancy, tribal accents, 3D butterfly accesories, subtle lace details and neck stone pieces. The only accessories used for the Spring/Summer 2014 couture collection were pairs of basic pointy-toe pumps in colors that match the chromatic of the presented looks.

The chromatic theme this Spring of 2014 at Valentino consists mostly in earthy colors especially hues of khaki, brown, light lime, purple taupe, ash gray, burdungy and creamy lights shades.

While we might miss the typical red Valentino trademark in this fashion show, the couture collection was still a major success. It was glorious, luxurious and simply fabulous, as always.
