Anxious for winter to come faster ? Do you want to ski now, and the snow hasn’t come yet ? Dubai has the solution. The largest indoor ski resort in the world was builted in Dubai and now you can enjoy winter right there.
Since a lot of time Dubai has been producing some amazing architectural feats for many years now. This city has a very productive economy, and as the United Arab Emirates continues to grow, many new landmarks are constructed year by year, making Dubai one of the fastest and productive economies in the east right now.
I’m sure you’ve already heard about the Mall of the Emirates , because it’s one of the biggest shopping centers in the world with 6,5 million square feet of space and also 2,5 million square feet for shopping space.
Let’s talk about this masterpiece, called Ski Dubai. It was developed by Majid Al Futtaim Properties which operates the Mall of the Enterprises.  This indoor ski resort boasts over 22,000 square meters of ski slopes. There are 2 ski lifts, a terrain park and 5 ski runs. The longest ski run is a quarter of a mile. There is a ski play area with toboggan runs, and a team of penguins that come out to play at least once a day. You can book a play time with the penguins. Ski clothing is included in the price of admission to Ski Dubai. The instalation system maintain a temperature of -1°C during the day and ?6 °C at night when the snow is produced.
I’m very surprised how something like this cand be built in the middle if the desert. For most of the people who live there, using this ski resort is the first time they have seen snow! It is so cool how technology now allows for people to experience things they would never be able to in the past. I would like to thank to all these amazing people who keep inventing amazing plans and they are making it true.
There are so many places in this world where you can ski now, all you have to do is to search on the internet which one is closest to you and just go. Personally, I prefer to ski in the nature, because I can feel the wind blowing through my face and it gives me a nice feeling. Enjoy nature, do sport !
