Let’s take a look at the world’s highest paid actors and just how much they have earned in the last year!

Have you ever wonder how much earns an actor from Hollywood? The answer is a lot. But how much? Read more to find out which are the Highest Paid Actors in the world.

Although we were initially expecting to see more movie actors in the past year more and more A-listed actors emerged from TV series and this seems to be the trends for 2014 as well!

Let’s get this ranking started!

#10 Michael C. Hall â€" $10 million

You all know Michael Carlyle Hall from the TV shows ‘Dexter’ or ‘Six Feet Under’. At age of 42 and with hard work, he earned his place on our top list.

#9 Patrick Dempsey â€" $13 million

47-year-old Patrick Dempsey earnes this year $13 million thanks to his work on the TV show ‘Grey’s Anatomy’.

#8 Neil Patrick Harris â€" $15 million

Neil Patrick Harris earns this year’s salary through his work from the TV show  ‘How I Met Your Mother’. The TV show is at its final season. Although the show will be over, the 40-year-old actor will always remain for us Barney Stinson and we’ll always use the sentences ‘ Challenge accepted’,  ‘ This is going to be legend … wait for it … dary! Legendary!’ and ‘When I’m sad I stop and be awesome instead’.

#7 Jon Cryer â€" $21 million

Who doesn’t love the fool, yet sweet leech? And when I say leech it’s because we all know he won’t move out  from that house. Not if they were 100 seasons, he will still be in that house. Yes, I’m talking about the character Alan Harper from the ‘Two and a half men’.  This TV show brought him this year’s earnings.

 

#6 Adam Sandler â€" $37 million

I love this funny man. Roles like the ones he had in ‘That’s my boy’, ‘You don’t mess with Zohan’, ‘Little Nicky’, or ‘Grown ups’ really suited him. The cartoon ‘ Hotel Transylvania’ was a big hit grossing $347 million on an $85 million budget. Still, the role from ‘Grown ups’ put Adam Sandler on our top list of the highest paid actors.

#5 Leonardo DiCaprio â€" $39 million

Yes, his biggest hit still remains the movie Titanic. The 2013 ‘The Great Gatsby’ brought Leonardo DiCaprio on our top list.

#4 Dwayne Johnson â€" $46 million

The  famous wrestler becomes a movie star. Funny, right? In less than 2 weeks ‘Fast & Furious 6′ grossed more than $500 million. You can also see Dwayne Johnson in ‘G.I. Joe: Retaliation’.

 

#3 Mark Wahlberg â€" $52 million

Earned $550 million on a budget of only $50 million, the teddy bear ‘Ted’ brought Mark Wahlberg a $52 million salary. We will see him again in summer 2014 on the next ‘Transformers‘ movie.

 

#2 Channing Tatum â€" $60 million

I first saw this hot actor in ‘Step up’. From ‘Step up’, to ‘She’s the man’, to ‘Dear John’,  to ‘ The vow’, to ‘G.I. Joe : Retaliaton’, to ‘White house down’, he stands on #2 of the highest paid actors list.

 

#1 Robert Downey Jr â€" $75 million

If you thought Robert Downey Jr was #1 on this list, you were right. What are the highest-grossing movies from all times? I’ll tell you that ‘The Avengers’ is the third one. Robert Downey Jr earned more than any other actor who played on that movie. Why? Because Tony Stark was essential so he could demand the most money.
