The Water Discus hotel in Dubai is intended to provide a luxury accommodation option for anyone who wants to settle down on the sea bed. Nowadays hotels are builted in the msot excentric places on the planet. It doesn’t matter if it’s a cave, a waterfall, or on a sea. This futuristic looking , expensive a luxurious hotel made up of spaceship like discs that recalls Star Trek’s Enterprise will appear partially underwater in the Maldives.
The constructors receivd green light by the National Ministry Of Tourism to begin the construction off the island of Kuredhivaru, where this ambitious project , will be buil underwater among the corals in crystal clear water.
Designed by Deep Ocean Technology, this hotel has 21 suites housed in two main discs â€" one above water, and the other one underwater. Their facilities include a dive centre and also a bar. While the scale is new, the concept isn’t.
So, how you can see , there are two structures. The aerial one, for those who prefer the amazing views of their lush, and the blue sky surrounding and the underwater one, who offers a marine view of tropical colorful corals and fishes. Â Suspended up to seven meters above water on five pillars, the upper deck will house the hotel restaurant, a rooftop seawater pool, a spa and a tropical garden, as well for the rich one a helicopter landing pad.
The lower underwater deck it’s built up to 30 meters below the surface. This will have 21 soundproof guest rooms and also a bar, an airlocked dive center that will lead the divers straight into the ocean. For deep-sea divers, the dive center also includes a decompression chamber.
Water Discuss offers a lot of activities like motor boats, deep-sea exploration, water skiing, underwater scooters and many others.
We have no idee when this hotel will be opened, all we can do is to wait, and hope this will become true.
However, it is in the Maldives that the genre comes into its own. Conrad Maldives Rangali Island has an underwater restaurant, Huvafen Fushi an underwater spa, Niyama an underwater nightclub and Conrad Maldives Rangali Island an underwater restaurant . And what better way to cruise between sub-aquatic destinations than in a private submarine?
It seems like the world is evolving under the water more and more. Now we have hotels, restaurant, nightclubs, all of them underwater. All we need is money and a little courage!
