Ever wondered which are the Most Expensive Music Videos Ever Made ? Well, I have wondered that myself and I made this top for you and for me.How great is music? For me and I think for you too is the most amazing thing in the world. Since the music videos were invented artists around the world such as Michael Jackson, Madonna and Britney Spears competed for the most extravagant  and most expensive music video ever. I have read this somewhere, there are two different ways to make a music video (a) the music video who promote your looks and your talent and the music video which show the rest of us a story. Let’s see if you can tell which is which.

10 â€" Mariah Carey ft Jay Z â€" Heartbreaker â€" $2,5 millions

Directed  by Brett Ratner this song became fan favourite according to MTV news and was listed as the most expensive music video ever made at the time .Was released on August 16, 1999. The video features Carey and her friends visiting a movie theater and catching her boyfriend  on a date with another woman.

9 -  MC HAMMER -Too Legit to Quit â€" $2.5 million

His fourth record and third official full-length studio album was  released on October 29, 1991. The video features  many celebrity appearances. Produced by Rupert Wainwright this video was ranked as one of the most expensive music videos ever made.

8 â€" Puff Daddy ft. The Notorious B.I.G. & Busta Rhymes â€" Victory â€" $2,7 millions

Released on March 31 1998 It features heavy use of mafioso-style lyrics, as was popular at the time. It features The Notorious B.I.G., who raps two verses, and Busta Rhymes, who sings the song’s chorus. Produced by Marcus Nispel.

7 â€" Guns N’ Roses â€" Estranged â€" $ 4 million

It has many verses, no set chorus, and several distinguished guitar and piano solos. Use Your Illusion II’s liner notes thank lead guitarist Slash for “the killer guitar melodies”. The nine minutes music video was directed by Andy Morahan.

6 - Michael Jackson â€" Black or White â€" $4 million

The song was released by Epic Records on November 11, 1991 as the first single from Jackson’s eighth studio album, Dangerous.  It was written, composed and produced by Michael Jackson and Bill Bottrell.

5 -Madonna- Bedtime Story â€" $5 million

The song was released as the album’s third single on February 13, 1995 by Maverick Records. “Bedtime Story” is a mid-tempo electronic song with acid-influenced “pulsating” house beats, ambient and techno tendencies  and was  produced by Madonna itself.

4 â€" Madonna- Express Yourself â€" $ 5 million

The second music video in this top by Madonna is the “Express Yourself” an inducement she gives us to be more creative and talks about rejecting material pleasures and only accepting the best for oneself.  Directed by David Fincher.

3 â€" Madonna â€" Die Another Day â€" $6,1 millions

No surprise for anyone to see three of Madonna’s song in the top of the Most Expensive Music Videos Ever Made.

This particular one is special, why? Cause is the theme song from the movie “James Bond“. The music video was directed by Swedish directing team, and was developed as an independent video, although had James Bond influences. Won several awards, including Grammy Awards for the “Best Dance Recording” and “Best Short Form Music Video”.

2 â€" Britney Spears â€" Work B**ch â€" $6.5 millions

It was written by Spears, William “will.i.am” Adams, Otto “Knows” Jettman, Sebastian Ingrosso, Anthony Preston and Ruth-Anne Cunningham. It recieved good critics around the world and numerous awards. Was directed by Ben Mor.

1 â€" Michael Jackson ft. Janet Jackson â€" Scream â€" $ 7 millions

This is the most expensive music video ever made by far. Is an auto-biographical song written and composed by Michael Jackson. The theme of the track centers around his difficult childhood experiences. It would become the main theme song for Free Willy 2: The Adventure Home, continuing his association with the Free Willy series. “Scream” or “Childhood” was a featuring with his sister Janet Jackson. The video was directed by Mark Romanek and was released in 1995. This “King of Pop” was our number one and util present day no one managed to break his records, which are many, including this one, the most expensive music video ever made.
