Hello Ealuxers, I guess you all know that singers are pretty successful, but how successful are they?
Weâve made some research and we have a top 10 for you, a top 10 most successful tours ever.
The artists weâre going to talk about next surely know how to attract their audiences, and that doesnât come as a surprise at all. They are some of the greatest artists of all time, and they have had the most successful tours in history.
But before we see more details, let me introduce you to two terms that Iâm going to be using a lot, you know, just so you understand what Iâm talking about.
- Tour Gross â" the tourâs profit per total without deductions for expenses
- Gross / Show â" the profit per one show without deductions for expenses
Now that we have that settled, itâs time to talk more about the highest grossing concert tours of all time.
So letâs see how much money these artists made out of their successful tours!
We start our journey of the most successful tours in history with Bruce Springsteen.
Tour Gross:Â $314.000.000
Gross / Show:Â $2.803.571
Start Date:Â March 2012
End Date:Â September 2013
Springsteenâs Wrecking Ball (and please donât think about Miley Cyrus when I say Wrecking Ball, ok?) had a total tour gross of $314 million, and is the 10 most successful tour ever.
The Wrecking Ball was a tour by Bruce Springsteen along with the E Street Band and promoted Springsteenâs seventeenth studio album, starting in March 2012, ending in September 2013.
The tour reached 26 countries, more than any of any other Springsteen tours. The tour was named the second highest grossing tour of 2012, and for the first half of 2013 one of the top three grossing tours for the year. Wrecking Ball won the Billboard Touring Award for Top Draw, being the most attended tour of the year.
The highest grossing tour ever, at that time ->
