The Clash are a popular English punk rock band, formed in the late 70′s. Their music is a mixture from different styles, like from reggae, to jazz, to pop … and hard rock.

Released in December, 1979 in the UK, the band’s 3rd studio album, entitled ‘London Calling’, was a major success. It ranked #8 in the Rolling Stone’s ’500 Greatest Albums of all Time’.

The album cover features an image of the bass player smashing his guitar against the stage. It is one of the best rock and roll images!

Selling over 5 million copies around the world, the original one was sold for $119.380 at Bonhams, in 2009.
