Most Expensive Race Pigeon

Most Expensive Race Pigeon is named after the Olympic gold-winning Jamaican sprinter Usian Bolt and it’s worth so much because he was bred by the celebrated Belgian pigeon fancier Leo Heremans. You want to know how much it costs? Keep reading and you’ll be amazed.
In 2012, Bolt was the swiftest pigeon in Belgium, where racing rules are especially strict.

This Most Expensive Race Pigeon was acquired by a Chinese shipping magnate at a whopping $328,000 and that is why is the most expensive race pigeon ever sold, according to the international pigeon distributor that coordinated the auction.
Most Expensive Race Pigeon
Bolt was eventually released together with 400 of his friends, but approximately  1,200 racing pigeons are still captive because of a dispute over import duties and because they had to pay for his transport around €75,000.
The Chinese shipbuilding company told PIPA (self-proclaimed largest meeting place for pigeon fanciers) the purchase marked their first step toward getting more involved in the world of pigeon racing.
The racing sport it says to have a cult following in European nations, several famous people from Queen Elizabeth II to Pablo Picasso, have been known to keep racing pigeons.
Most Expensive Race Pigeon
‘The Chinese know there is one big economic advantage with pigeons,’ said Yi Manna, chief of the PIPA pigeon auction house which organizes sales in Belgium. ‘A bottle of wine remains one bottle. You have a nice pigeon and it will have more children, grandchildren.’
Bolt is believed to be the fastest pigeon in Europe.
It’s true that whispering to the pigeons creates a bond and encourages them to fly faster in a race so they have a motive to get home quicker.
Bolt won the Belgian sprint title last year, an achievement which put him in the Usain Bolt class. Previously the world’s most expensive race pigeon price for a single bird, barely a pound of feathers, stood at 250,400 Euros which was paid in Belgium last year. The sport has always been popular in Belgium, achieving great popularity in the mid 19th Century.
image
Pigeon racing involves releasing specially trained pigeons which then return to their homes over measured distance. It requires a specific breed of pigeon, called the ‘Racing Homer’.
But even if the sport moves farther out of obscurity and into the public spotlight, at more than $300,000 per bird, it’s not likely too many people will be flocking to participate.
What do you think about Bolt the world’s Most Expensive Race Pigeon?

Most Expensive Diamond In The World 2013

Let’s take a look at the most expensive diamond in the world!

You know that Marilyn Monroe said once that a diamond is a girl’s best friend, and I liked that for a good reason. We all love diamonds ! The diamond is thought to have the amazing power of steel and fire. Maybe this is why the diamonds have become the most beautiful way to engage with the person you love.

We wrote about the most expensive engagement ring but, what is the most expensive diamond on this world ? I’m very curious, and I hope you too. The world most expensive diamond depends on what someone was inclinable to pay to get that precious jewel. In many cases a diamond will be sold for a ridiculous price, even the diamond may not have been the most precious jewel in the world.
According to the Guinness Book of World Records the most expensive diamond in the world is “Princie“ and it was sold to Sheikh Ahmed Fitaihi from Saudi Arabia.
Here it is !
" The Most Expensive Diamond In The World !"

Most Expensive Sports To Play

Wondering which are the most expensive sports to play? Let’s get this!
It’s weekend and it’s time for something new ! The question is what can we do on a shiny day like this .  Well, I have some ideas for you and I hope you will love them . Have you ever thought which are the most expensive sports on this planet ? If you didn’t, take a look because it is highly unlikely, except if you are a millionaire who can spend hundreds of dollars doing these 7 most expensive sports in the world.

Let’s find out together which are the Most Expensive Sports To Play !

7. Equestrianism

You must try this at least once in your life. If you think that equestrianism is just a horseback riding or turning into a cowboy, think again. This is something more than that. There are three events : the dressage part, show jumping, and eventing. This sport it is included in the Olympics. This may just be what started everything in terms of very expensive sports.
Most Expensive Sports To Play:
A person with millions in the bank may have access to or may even be able to buy a horse. However, this does not mean that they can already become an equestrian . But,you need a dressage horse. He can perform and dance to music while it retains it’s posture.
Most Expensive Sports To Play:

6. Polo

Polo is a team sport played on horseback in which the objective is to score goals against an opposing team. Players score by driving a small white plastic or wooden ball into the opposing team’s goal using a long-handled mallet. It’s not like equestrianism, because a person must have more horses, not just one. You will need to change your horse several times during a game, because if you don’t the horses are highly likely to die.  Basically, polo is like croquet. The only difference is that you get to play it while riding a horse.

5. Formula

Formula 1 is one of the most expensive sports to take part in, whichever angle you look at. Sincemost teenagers do not have their own money yet, their parents will spend hundreds of thousands of dollars to get their kids in the sport. Even if you have the money, there are just so many Formula One circuit series that you need to negociate before you cand successfully get in. To start things off, you will need about $ 190.000.This is just the first of the long list of other expenses you need to worry about, except if you are able to get a sponsor.

4. Sailing

There are somany ways to transport these days. A lot of people use bikes because they are inexpensive and they’re fun and more important a good form of exercise. Cars are considered to be a necessity by a lot of consumers. So what about sailing? Well, sailing is basically for those who have a lot of money . This requires a significant amount of upkeep. You would also need to have it stored or docked somewhere for more than 90 percent of the time.

3. Wingsuiting

For $2,500, you can get a full wingsuit. So why is wingsuiting one of the most expensive sports in the world? Just  because wingsuit doesn’t mean just a costume. You need to pay for skydiving lessons, order high quality skydiving gear, travel on air, and many other associated expenses.

2. Hot Air Ballooning

I would love to see the sky. Maybe touching a cloud would be perfect. If you are thinking of hot air ballooning as those that you see in romantic movies, you are wrong . What we are actually talking about is the racing type of hot air ballooning. You need to fly along while inside a wicker basket several thousands of feet from the ground. This is not, in any way cheap. Prepare your pocket for this.

1. Ski Jumping

You may only have to spend about $1,500 to around $3,000. This is relatively cheap when you compare it with the previous sports discussed. You need to hire and pay good money for an instructor. Lastly, you would have to get a lot of insurance – coverage for almost all kinds of insurance out there.
